Located in SCL's brand-new terminal 2, the massive 4,000-square metre space comes with luggage lockers, sleeping areas, children’s areas, showers, an open bar, a Latin American-inspired buffet, ironing and shoeshine service, and co-working areas. It also features sculptures from up-and-coming South American artists Ximena Guzmán (Chile), Sofía Donován (Argentina), and Percy Zorrilla (Peru).
The new lounge is open to Black Signature, Black, and Platinum members of LATAM Pass as well as LATAM's premium cabin passengers. Elites and premium cabin passengers of Delta Air Lines, Iberia, and Qatar Airways also get access to the new lounge.
Commendably, LATAM has sought to embrace and promote sustainable lounge operations. 80% of the energy required to operate the lounge comes from sustainable sources. There are also various interactive games scattered throughout the lounge to draw travellers' attention to sustainability topics such as recycling and species protection.
